Okmulgee Memorial Hospital has been awarded a three-year term of accreditation in mammography as the result of a recent review by the American College of Radiology (ACR). Mammography is a specific type of imaging test that uses a low-dose x-ray system to examine breasts. OMH Hires New General Surgeon
Okmulgee Memorial Hospital recently hired a new general surgeon, Dr. Benjamin Kamp. Dr. Kamp’s first day at the hospital was Aug. 2, 2010. A 2005 graduate of Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Kamp completed his surgical residency at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan. While at OSU, Dr. Kamp served as class president and received awards for Student DO of the Year and Leadership and Service. He completed his internship at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City.
