At Okmulgee Memorial Hospital, our only concern is for the health and healing of our patients. Everyone plays a role in infection control, and we ask for your cooperation in promoting patient safety.
- Don't visit a patient if you are ill or not feeling well.
- Wash your hands or use our hand sanitizer before entering and when leaving a patient's room.
- Avoid touching anything used to care for the patient, and read and follow instructions posted outside the patient's room.
- Okmulgee Memorial Hospital is a smoke-free facility. As a health care institution, Okmulgee Memorial Hospital recognizes the hazards of smoking and enforces a “no smoking policy” throughout the institution. Patients, visitors, physicians, personnel and volunteers are asked to smoke only in designated smoking areas while on the hospital premises
Environmental Services

Environmental services employs a full-time staff that specializes in employing proper cleaning practices to prevent the spread of illness and disease throughout the hospital. The department not only cleans all the facilities within the hospital, but also sterilizes all surgical equipment and provides housekeeping services to hospitalized patients. | | |
